What is the You’ve Got Contacts program?

You’ve Got Contacts uses email postcards to find, sell to, and retain customers. It sells and builds the relationship with all your customers and prospects. It is fearless prospecting that finds new customers, turns prospects into customers, acts as a referral program, increases customer retention, and increases cross-selling. It builds traffic, loyalty and sales.

Do the email postcards comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003?

Yes. Because we require you to get permission to send the email postcards to your recipients before including them on your You've Got Contacts database, your email postcards are exempt from the act. According to http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/canspam.htm "A 'transactional or relationship message' - email that facilitates an agreed-upon transaction or updates a customer in an existing business relationship - may not contain false or misleading routing information, but otherwise is exempt from most provisions of the CAN-SPAM Act. Will our customers allow us to send them a monthly email, and will they even open it?

Because we strictly enforce our anti-spamming policies and adhere to the Can-Spam Act of 2003, every contact on your list has to opt-in to receive the emails to begin with. You will be allowed to send your email postcards each month whenever you want and create your own subject line. Your customers will recognize your name and subject line and will be more likely to look at your email.

You’ve Got Contacts uses fun, humor, inspirational, and motivational email postcards because in order to get people’s attention you first need to entertain. Because your message is refreshing, and short, each month they will look forward with anticipation to your email. Since you now capture their attention, they will now see your message.

How much work is involved with the program?

You are required to do 2 things: ask your customers and prospects if you may include them on your database and type in their name, company name, and e-mail address in your personal database. Then set-up your postcards schedule. You can set-up your schedule monthly or set-up your schedule for the whole year. Once you set-up your postcard schedule we will automatically send out your postcard on the date you selected.

Can you import my list and schedule the postcards for me?

Yes. If your to busy to schedule your email postcards, we’ll do it for you. Click on Shortcuts for the Impatient to learn how.

Can I add, edit, or delete emails at any time?

Yes. You will have total access to your contacts at any time.

Can I email you the names for you to input?

Yes. We accept lists in an Excel format. You must have the first name, last name and email address all in separate columns in order for us to import correctly. You can email your final list to support@youvegotcontacts.com.

Note: one common mistake we get when people enter their contact’s email address is that they put in the contact’s website address as the email address. Please make sure you get the correct email address.

How many names can I have in my database?

Up to 3,000 names (please contact us if you have more). However, we won't tolerate anyone sending unsolicited e-mails (spamming). This will result in being automatically banned from all of our services.

Can I design my own email postcards?

No. At this time we only have our preset postcards.

How do I know if the email postcards have been sent?

Just login to your account and scroll down to postcard and email history. You will see the confirmation there.

Can I choose which email postcards to be sent?

Yes. When you set-up your postcard schedule you will be able to choose what postcard you wish to send.

How many email postcards can I send each month?

Unlimited.

Can my business logo be added to each postcard?

No. We do not have this option available at this time.

Do you sell or distribute any of the email addresses, names, etc., I supply to you?

What if someone on my list wants to be taken off?

They will be able to remove themselves by clicking on a link below each postcard. Once they click on that link they will be automatically taken off your list. If they email you and ask to be removed, it will be your responsibility to remove them from your list.
